Pheona Namuyaba
holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Science from Makerere University and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science degree in Education for Sustainability from London South Bank University. She has passion for changing the lives of poor and marginalized communities. She carries along enormous experience in community work particularly using participatory approaches to community empowerment, community conservation, action research, and supporting rural livelihood projects and has been engaged in various research works. She has had several training in Advocacy for minority rights, Public expenditure tracking and community monitory of development projects, research and documentation, Gender analysis and use of IT to promote women’s rights and conflict resolution and mitigation.
Presently, she is the lead person for the 6 year Building Local Democracy (Participatory Democracy) project implemented in the districts of Apac, Masindi, Iganga and Nebbi. She also provides support to the programme team in implementing other projects in the different parts of the country. Pheona joined CDRN in Sept 2008 as a Programme Officer and previously worked with Rwenzori Anti Corruption Coalition (RAC) as Documentation and Communication Officer, and also volunteered with Private Sector Development and Consultancy Center (PRICON) and PRIME West a USAID funded project.
Simon Enamu
Is a graduate of Social Work and Social Administration (B.SWSA) from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. He has had several trainings in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), Policy Engagement, Policy Analysis, Gender Analysis, Conflict Transformation, Early Childhood Development Programming etc. Currently he is the Lead Person for a project on Empowering the Tepeth, Pokot and Ik Ethnic Minority Groups to demand their rights. This project is being implemented in the districts of Moroto, Nakapiripirit and Kaabong.
Simon joined CDRN in October 2009, having been a Programme Officer and Programme Assistant at Uganda Child Rights NGO Network. He has four years experience in the civil society arena. Simon has expertise in policy analysis and legislative reviews, policy advocacy, project/programme development and management, fund raising, treaty reporting, socio-economic research and capacity development. He is well grounded in international, regional and national human rights instruments with a particular focus on children’s rights. He is actively engaged in providing tailored capacity building support to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and facilitating action research projects in communities. He is involved in developing funding proposals; preparing internal and donor reports, policy briefs, training manuals and representing CDRN at different fora.

Is a fresh graduate of Library and Information Science (BLIS) of Makerere University, he also a holder of Cisco Certified Network Academy (CCNA). Bosco is a volunteer working in CDRN, he is in charge of Organizing the Resource Centre, Helping users of the Resource Centre access Information Resaources from the Centre, Assist Resource Centre users access Internet, Ensures that the Information Resources are well utilized in the Organization.
